When possible – Claim Maker uses the extracted data from your files to make Line item coding predictions for Surgical CPT, ASA , and modifiers. These predictions appear at the top of the line item (see image below). The Coder then has the option to individually apply a code by clicking on it or selecting 'Apply All' to apply all predicted Codes.

Hovering over a prediction or applied predicted code will show you context information for why that specific code was chosen as well as a confidence score 1-100. Scores 0.95 and above will appear green. Under 0.95 will appear as yellow and should be reviewed. These confidence thresholds can be customized for your organization. Claim maker AutoCoding Predictions will also provide the reference document for where the code predicted came from.

This is indicated by hyperlinked document in the predicted code pop up. Clicking that icon will reveal the source document. Clicking the document will navigate you there.

Inside the document you will find a 'Summary' button which will generate a summary of the info used for a specific code.
