- Make sure to select the 'Coder View' to begin coding cases.
- Select a case
- Even if AutoCoding predictions are present – you may ignore these and proceed to manually code the line items.
- Begin typing a CPT code. Once a CPT code is selected – if any ASA codes are available – Claim maker will attempt to auto populate this code – you can manually change the selection in the ASA dropdown.
- Select any modifiers needed. This is a multi select field so add as many modifiers as needed.
- To add an additional line item click 'Add.'
- Once you have completed coding the case. Click the 'Complete button on the last line item. This will update the Case State to 'Code Completed' and automatically move you to the next case in the batch.
