Want to check your coding before export? Use the Line Item Validation feature in Claim Maker.

- To access Validation, make sure you are in the Coder View,
- Select the 'Validation' tab and click 'Validate.' (see image below)
- The coded line item will be checked agains [NCCI Edits](https://www.cms.gov/medicare/coding-billing/national-correct-coding-initiative-ncci-edits/medicare-ncci-procedure-procedure-ptp-edits#:~:text=National%20Correct%20Coding%20Initiative%20(NCCI)%20Procedure-to-Procedure,Column%20Two%20HCPCS%2FCPT%20code).
- Coding updates (if any) will be recommended based on this validation process.
