In the event you have some records that don't need to be sent through the sftp pipeline but you would still like to get data extracted from them, you can use our 'Upload for Processing' Option.

In the document pane click the 'Attach' button

Drag and drop files into the blue cloud upload area. Using the 'attach' buttons will only append the pdf to the case and not send the case for processing. You can also click in the blue cloud area and navigate to the document you wish to attach.

<Step>Click the blue 'Attach All' button at the bottom of the popup.</Step>
<Step>Wait a few minutes for the document to be processed into the case. You will see a banner notification when it is complete. Until the document is done processing you will see the document listed with the name 'Processing' on the case.</Step>

This is a helpful method if you have one off paper records at an electronic EMR site OR an extra record such as an op note or something you need to quickly attach to an existing case.
