As you begin using Claim Maker and insurance information is populating, you will want to go ahead and save insurances so they receive an internal id that will be part of the export file for billing.

To save an insurance:

Navigate to Data Entry View&gt; Insurance tab

<Step>Find a populated insurance and then hit the save button. This will assign a numeric id to that insurance and each time Claim maker identifies it in documentation in the future, that same id will be exported with it as part of the export file.</Step>

The insurances that appear at the bottom of this screen are all available saved insurances across the platform. They will display as options to select even if you never saved them.
