Adding Additional Times

This feature provides a clear, more structured visibility into time segments that fall outside the primary anesthesia start/stop window. Each Additional Time segment can be associated with individual additional line items and claim entities, allowing downstream systems and users an ability to understand which line items apply to each discrete time segment. This is especially important for scenarios such as Labor → C‑Section transitions, multi‑phase procedures, or cases where supplemental anesthesia time must be tied to specific line items and claim entities.
Additional times are added in the Data Entry > Other view
To associate the time with a line item go to the Coder View and find the line items
Once you have added the line item to associate to the additional time, select 'Times' and then select the Time 1 (or other additional time)
This will tie the line item to the additional time and will be reflected in the billing export file.
