Human Review Elements (Autocoding 2.0)

Once a case has been run through Autocoding 2.0 – Human Review Elements may be present. They will be located in a tab in the Case Information panel.

There are 4 types of Human Review Elements or HREs:

• HARDSTOP – These are items like missing data points necessary to Autocode a case. These will prevent Autocoding 2.0 from applying codes automatically. You may still receive Autocoding predictions but Claim Maker will not automatically apply them.
• FINANCIAL – These are items to consider that may impact the payment on the case. These will also prevent Autocoding 2.0 from automatically applying codes. Predictions may still be supplied
• COMPLIANCE – These are alert focused on compliance issues and will also prevent a case from being automatically coded. Predictions may still be supplied
• – These could be system update messages or actions completed by Autocoding – these will not prevent cases from being automatically coded

Each HRE contains documentation link for you to click and navigate automatically to the referenced page inside of the Complete Record.

Once an HRE has been addressed – you can mark it as resolved. There are also several other options in the dropdown to choose from as well.

Unaddressed HREs do not prevent you from exporting Code Complete Cases.
